Case Study: Multiple Pump-Back systems at remote site

Installation of multiple (9) pump-back systems to resolve issues of uncontrolled release of acid mine drainage into the downstream environment. Pump systems include PS2-4000 systems with Lorentz centrifugal pumps, each with a 24panel array capable of pumping around 277m3 per day back to the main pit, and smaller PS2-1800 systems coupled with batteries to enable continuous pumping of up to 20-22 hours per day

In the diagram below, 1m3 = 1000 litres, so at 10m head, system is pumping on average around 277,000 litres per day.
